Since being founded in 1994, Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT, Inc.) has supported NASA projects and contracts, nationwide. In June 2012, SGT captured NASA’s Omnibus Multidiscipline Engineering Services (OMES) contract in support of the Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate (AETD) at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. SGT will provide services for development and validation of new technologies for future earth and space science missions. This will include study, design, systems engineering, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of space flight, airborne and ground system hardware and software.
The NASA Goddard AETD is responsible for providing multidiscipline engineering expertise for both in-house and out-of-house instrument and spacecraft programs, including the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) Program and the Satellite Servicing Capabilities Office (SSCO).
At this time, we will continue our staffing as required for the JPSS work, and are hiring in the areas of mechanical and electrical flight systems design and development, thermal engineering, spacecraft instrumentation, ground system architecture, hardware and software design and development, integration and test, and operations for both flight and ground systems. If you feel that supporting mission of NASA is of interest to you and have experience in spacecraft engineering disciplines, please visit the SGT, Inc. website at https://cr.sgt-inc.com/careers/ to review open OMES positions, or send your resume to Paul Allocca, email@example.com.
